Zha'Vrollo, the Temple of the Savage Heart, is a partially ruined temple in the Gloomed Jungles of Aeshanadoor dedicated to Sahyaadon, an entity worshiped by the Gorgynei. It is a holy site which the Gorgynei use as part of their meditations, rituals, and training activities. It is located about a day-and-a-half's foot journey east-southeast from Barinak.
Description[]
The temple is a partial ruin, but with most of its beauty intact. Its nature as a power hub of spiritual energies draws wildlife toward it.[1]
Zha'Vrollo is situated in a clearing, built into the base of a rocky cliff forming the beginning of a mountain range, overgrown with roots, trees, and vines. There are areas of small black puffballs and giant shelf-like purple fungus. The structure itself is half-collapsed, bearing signs of carvings and rock shaping harmonizing with the natural form of a rockfall. However, the cavern behind the structure is mostly intact.[2]
Immediately inside the temple, scaffolding holds up portions of the ceilings and walls, and there is a smell as if animals have lived there. The hallway is filled with bones both ancient and more recent, animal and humanoid. There are scraps of armor and weapons, and signs of gashes from both weapons and claws.[3]
Further in is a large chamber, the Chamber of Trials, with a break in the ceiling about forty feet up revealing a patch of sky, and water continually trickles in. In the center is a female humanoid statue of Seraatani, the Wildmother.[4] Surrounding it are multiple other statues of different figures, several of them fallen over.[5]

For a short time during the Apex War, the temple was used as a secret military outpost for the Stratos Throne, housing a small group of operatives hoping to strike Yios. Sahyaadon disapproved, and "took it back herself". The Gorgynei have scavenged some of the materials left behind when the soldiers fled, but always ask for Sahyaadon's forgiveness or permission when they do so. However, the temple was damaged during this event, although the central chamber is mostly intact.[6]
"Call of the Wild" (3x41)[]
Chetney underwent a trial at the temple, being taken over and transformed by Sahyaadon and attacking the rest of Bells Hells. During the ensuing battle, they slowly reached his rational mind and convinced him to regain control, allowing him to pass Sahyaadon's test.
