Zehra Fazal is an actor with roles in animation, video games, theater, and television. She appears in Candela Obscura Chapter Two: The Circle of Needle and Thread.
Background[]
Zehra was born in Libertyville, Illinois, the daughter of Muslim Pakistani immigrants, and grew up in West Lafayette, Indiana.[2] She received a bachelor's degree from Wellesley College where she studied Japanese, interned in Japan with the Takarazuka Revue Company,[3] and speaks Japanese, French and Urdu.[4]
Zehra wrote and starred in a one-woman musical-comedy show called "Headscarf and the Angry Bitch", which she toured around the world as a means of dispelling stereotypes and post-9/11 fear and wariness of Muslims with humor.[4]
She is perhaps best known for voicing Nadia Rizavi in Voltron: Legendary Defender and Halo and Bluebird in Young Justice: Outsiders.
