Wolfe seems to have a certain competitiveness with his twin, being easily irritated when she claims to have done better than him.[4] Both seem to be very insightful.

The twins were born to Percival and Vex'ahlia de Rolo, the Lord and Lady of Whitestone, as the second and third child of the couple, with Wolfe being the first boy.
"The Assembling of Legends" (3x112)[]
After the apogee solstice of 843 PD Wolfe's parents became allies of the Exandrian Accord and were preparing to aid them in their conflict against the Ruby Vanguard. One morning, the de Rolo siblings were gathered by Gwen and Vesper at the Sun Tree as their parents had requested. The twins were aware of the importance of the situation, especially after Vex'ahlia told them to take care of each other, although they seemed hopeful when she explained that their mission was to rescue their uncle. They showed strength at first, but when Vox Machina prepared to go through the portal that Keyleth had opened, the de Rolo siblings allowed themselves to openly show concern, and even shed a few tears.

- Wolfe was presumably named after his ancestor Wolfe de Rolo, the fourth Lord of Whitestone.
- Both he and Leona have names which make reference to animals: a wolf and a lioness, respectively.
- Jessica Scates confirmed that the furred collars the twins wore in the family portrait of 832 PD are a reference to the similar pieces of clothing Vax and Vex used to wear during their time as adventurers.[4]
- Although it hasn't been explicitly confirmed which of the twins was born first, the fact that Wolfe is always mentioned first, including in a listing of the siblings from oldest to youngest,[6] suggests that Wolfe was the older twin and Leona the younger.
- As of 843 PD Wolfe and Leona went hunting with their mother.[4]
- According to his sister, he's not very good at it.
- Percy might have made him a pop gun when he was young.[7]
