Will Lamborn is a Los Angeles based video director who currently works as a video editor for Critical Role Productions LLC.
Critical Role works[]
Will Lamborn was one of the four editors on the webseries All Work No Play[1] and the short animated videos of Crit Recap Animated[2] In 2021, Will was one of the two Assistant Editors on It's Thursday Night, Campaign Three: Bells Hells' first opening title.[3][4] Will edited the promotional video for the game Till the Last Gasp from Darrington Press featuring Matthew Mercer and Marisha Ray.[5] Will also edited the videos featuring the Game Masters of Candela Obscura with Matt Mercer, Spenser Starke, Aabria Iyengar, and Liam O'Brien explaining how they created their respective chapters.[6][7][8][9] He edited the video featuring the entire cast of Critical Role creating characters during their Daggerheart session zero.[10] He's the supervising editor for Critical Role Abridged[11] and the producer of the season four of Narrative Telephone.[12]
Will directed the promo for Beacon featuring the destruction of a suburban family, seen in the break of many episodes following Beacon's launch.[13]
Other works[]
Will has worked with several companies in the industry, including IBM, Disney, Maker Studios, SoulPancake, and National Geographic.[14] In 2007 Will produced, shot, and edited the short film Songbird, which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival to critical acclaim. In 2010, Will’s short film, Out of Nowhere premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival. Will is also the co-writer of the 2017 film Shot.[15]
