A Weapon of Warning is a magical weapon of any kind that has been enchanted to provide its wielder with warning of nearby dangers.
Properties[]
A Weapon of Warning gives the wielder advantage on initiative rolls. In addition, it provides a warning of nearby danger, and the wielder and their companions within 30 feet normally cannot be surprised by an attack. If the group is asleep, the weapon will wake them if combat begins.[1]
History[]
In the Netherdeep, a replica of Alyxian's spear has the properties of a weapon of warning.[2]
Deni$e Bembachula had a Whip of Warning when she encountered Team Issylra of Bells Hells.[3] It slightly buzzed when they heard Prism Grimpoppy approaching for the first time[4] and it became first warm and then hot when the party was approaching the living hill in front of Hevestro's cavern.[5]
