The War of Axe and Vine is an aggregate term for multiple conflicts taking place in many places all over Aramán that ended approximately 26 years before the events of Campaign Four, in the year 45.[1]

Thjazi Fang made a name for himself as an adventurer in the war, at one point saving the life of a cousin of Julien Davinos and earning the friendship of the head of House Davinos, General Raimond Davinos.[2] Thjazi subsequently married a noblewoman, Lady Aranessa of the Sundered House of Royce.[3]
Halandil Fang fought at the end of the war along with Loza Blade.[4]
King Augustus Valian founded Timmony as an independent country, after he and other rebels fought against Argosia, the nation that held claim over that territory.[5]
