Violet

Violet is an elf and an old associate of Ashton Greymoore's.

Description[]

Ashton describes Violet as a smart, polite and convincing elf,[2] although he also called her "sociopathic".[3]

Biography[]

At some point of her life Violet started offering her services to those willing to pay her. Their specialty was to locate people that were in hiding or to make people disappear, and she was able to use magic.[4] She worked for Jiana Hexum several times, and also with Ashton.[5]

In 843 PD, while their friends were fighting an undead bird in front of the Aydinlan Seminary, Ashton saw Violet. Thinking that she might be in Yios looking for the party, the genasi decided to follow the elf to ask her some questions.[6] However, Violet (who wasn't looking for Bells Hells at all) ended up getting information from Ashton, to the point where they agreed to collaborate in a mission as a way to ensure Violet's silence (so they wouldn't turn Bells Hells in for money).[7]

Violet and Ashton tried to get information from a local mob, the Baneful Brood, and the elf helped by disguising the barbarian with a magical glamour. However, the job got complicated, they got caught,[8] which led to the kidnapping of a kenku,[9] an interrogation in which Violet tried to talk their way out,[10] and several members of the mob being arrested by the local sentries.[11]

After that Ashton returned with his friends, having ensured Violet's silence.

Violet is a spellcaster who knows at least one spell to disguise people.[12]

  • Violet was aware of the presence of Dwendalian agents (Ludinus Da'leth's forces) visiting Yios.[14]
  • According to Ashton, Violet had some sort of contact with someone in the Aydinlan Seminary that was about to be discovered as a grifter.[15]
