Valkin is one of the members of a team that had won the Hour of Honor, a drinking competition, three weeks in a row before Mighty Nein's victory. As an NPC, Valkin is played by Matthew Mercer.

Valkin is a very young, bright-eyed gnome; he is also very thin, apparently the runt of his line of gnomes.[1]

Valkin faced Caleb in the drinking competition. Caleb drank the first batch faster, Valkin won the next two rounds, and Caleb came back with two more wins, at which time Valkin passed out.
