Description[]

Appearance[]

Bri-Ukurat

Fan art of Ukurat, by Bri.[art 2]

Ukurat has the appearance of a giant feral beast, with the shape of a large wolf-like humanoid. At his full height he stands about twelve or thirteen feet tall, his shoulders wider than Grog's. He wears a series of jeweled necklaces around his throat, rings on his fingers, and a makeshift leather belt and armored leg-piece. There are long scars on his cheek that go down to his throat.[3]

Personality[]

Ukurat is feral in nature and bellicose when it comes to everything related to pixies, but he is also true to his word if he makes a deal with someone.

Biography[]

Background[]

Ukurat is assumed to have been an elf before becoming the leader of his lycan clan. At some point he and his clan became the enemies of the wisher pixies.

"Denizens of the Moonbrush" (1x61)[]

Vox Machina encountered the Fendir lycans while travelling through the Feywild, and were introduced to Ukurat. Ukurat agreed to not eat Vox Machina and allow them passage through their territory if they destroyed a crystal stone circle among the homes of the Wisher pixies. Ukurat explained that the Wisher pixies have been preying upon the lycans, petrifying them and taking them as decorative statues. The Fendir simply wish to live in peace and safety. Keyleth attempted to broker peace without destruction, but Ukurat refused.

Vox Machina pretended to destroy the village but then hit the edge of an invisible barrier. Ukurat and the other lycans appeared and explained that if they had really destroyed the village, everyone would have been free to leave. The party promised to go back and finish the job, so the lycans departed.

Ukurat appeared at the end of Vox Machina's fight with a contingent of Wisher pixies and ate the last remaining pixie. He then led the party back to the pixie village, where the Fendir were finishing off the last of them. Lord Ukurat went to the stone circle and wrestled two of them out of the ground, deactivating the barrier. Ukurat announced that they were all now free. Since the party had held up their end of the bargain, if they needed him in the future, just call and he would be at their back.

"The Echo Tree" (1x63)[]

During Vox Machina's fight against Saundor, Grog howled to summon Ukurat. He appeared shortly after and joined the fight, although it ended shortly after. Ukurat took his leave, saying he's sorry he missed most of the action and that they're now even.
