The Twilight Mirror Museum is three-story museum with a basement owned and run by Evon Hytroga in Heartmoor Hamlet .
Description[]
Exterior[]
The museum building looks very much unlike any others in the town.[2] It is a "somewhat cylindrical" building with a courtyard, and is behind a tall metal fence with a large iron gate. At each of what passes for the corners of the museum building, there are small towers. Moss grows on the exterior, as it does on most buildings in Heartmoor Hamlet. The yard between the gate and the building is colorful and overgrown, with non-native plants competing with the indigenous flora. On the gate, there is a bronze placard with a blue and purple pulsing jewel on each side of it, which reads "Twilight Mirror Museum: Hytroga Emporium and Estate." A bell hangs next to the gate.[3]
In their first and second visit, Bells Hells saw that all the windows were barred on the outside and obscured from the inside with curtains.[4][5]
Interior[]
Third floor[]
- Bedroom
Second floor[]
- Bedroom: The room has the feeling of a lush forest, with stone-embedded walls covered in ivy, a bed supported by pillars resembling jungle trees and covered with an ivy canopy, and a hidden reflecting surface above, revealing itself with the touch of a button.[6]
- Red guest room
- Guest room
- Office: On the wall of the room hangs a ceremonial mask labeled as having been worn in ancient times by acolytes of the Cloaked Serpent. The room contains bookshelves and a wooden desk with a locked drawer holding the Eyes of Charming and various books and papers related to the museum, including receipts for the purchase of the various museum artifacts. All of them were stolen by Ashton during the Bells Hells's heist.
First floor[]
Foyer[]
The main doors of the museum lead into a hallway with a kitchen on the left and a music room on the right. The walls are lined with landscape paintings each of which also depicts Evon Hytroga posing. In the back, there is a set of stairs that rises to the second floor of the building and two draped statues in alcoves to either side. Behind one of the paintings, labeled "Evon Standing Beside Tower Du’Adio, the Golden Dream in Issylra", is a hidden door, locked and trapped.[7]

Exibition in the basement[]
During Bells Hells and The Verdict's heist of the museum, they encountered and read various plaques and signs on exhibits and paintings, mostly of questionable veracity, and some of which were later confirmed to be fakes:[8]
- "Headdress of a Lyth-Priest of the cult village of Hishari before its destruction. What terrible things has this artifact seen...?" (leather mask and headdress)[9]
- "Ceremonial Hishari Armor" (leather armor from Hishari in Issylra)[10][11]
- "Destroyed relic of the Xhorhasian Dynasty, supposedly from before the Calamity, now a shell of its former power. Oh, the stories it could tell..." (bent and darkened metallic lattice in a geometric shape resembling a Luxon beacon)[12]
- "Haunted Mask of the Mountain. A cursed relic that was once a sign of station with the dwarven noble house of Ovorag in Othanzia. This mask was found near the body of every mysterious death within the family over four generations. Casting it out, its dark power somehow found its way here..." (elongated wooden carved mask, magical)[13]
- "Journal of Vespin Chloras. Spent a mild fortune procuring the mystical journal of Vespin Chloras, thought lost to time. The horrors scrawled within by the mind of one of history’s greatest villains can drive one mad…" (a book)[14]
- "Spear of Judgment. The fabled Spear of Judgment bequeathed to Yuana Bretei, high cleric of the Lawbearer, as she helmed the charge of her subjects at the walls of the great siege of the Dawn City. A true hero's weapon..." (a spear)[15]
- "Masthead of the Hungry Fathom, renowned ghost ship of the Ozmit Sea. Born from the sinking of the historical Hespet pirate Captain Eldor Trornak, this recovered portion of the original ship is said to call out its spectral counterpart. How scary..."[16]
- "Wind Folly, the earring of Harudan. The earring worn by the mythical djinn Harudan, who forged the realm of Taj-Najmeh before being outsmarted of it. What a lesson for the ages to beware the deals one makes…"[17]
Exhibition on the second floor[]
- "Mask of the Serpent. A ceremonial mask used by the acolytes of the Cloaked Serpent between 200 and 300 PD in the islands of the Lucidian Ocean. You can almost feel the dark that seeps through this dark relic..."[18]
Trivia[]
Taliesin jokingly said that to find it, he (as Ashton) was going to look for the "most gaudy, ridiculous Venice Beach curiosity shop" building possible, to which Matt responded that he was not wrong.[19]
