Tom Cardy is an actor, comedian, musician, and songwriter internationally known for his comedy songs and videos on TikTok and YouTube.

Biography[]

Tom was born in Sydney, Australia on 12 June 1994, the youngest child and only son of three children. He studied music and psychology at the University of Sydney. There, he began writing and performing for several arts revues and in his own sold-out comedy festival shows. He also was a player and provided music for the Australian Dungeons & Dragons podcast Dragon Friends. His debut single "Mixed Messages" was released in 2021.[1] Right before Christmas of 2023 he released "Perception Check", which became extremely popular among TTRPG fans.[2]

Critical Role Productions[]

Tom co-wrote the track Cold Inside with Sam Riegel on the album Critical Role Presents: Winter's Crest released on November 2024. In 2025 Tom acted as the master of ceremony of the "Tag Team at the Teeth – The Misty Ascent" (Sx97) one-shot in Sydney, part of the 10th Anniversary Live Tour, where he performed Mixed Messages along with several other songs. In the same live show, he played a guest character, the goliath bard Ethel Rivergold. Tom also appeared in the Critical Role Live Show: Sydney | LIVE Beacon Backstage Pass and the Critical Role Live Show: Melbourne | LIVE Beacon Backstage Pass with the rest of the cast before they jumped on stage for the VIP Q&A before the show.
