Tim McGraw is an American country singer, songwriter, producer and actor. He's known for having recorded songs such as "It's Your Love", "Just See You Smile", and "Live Like You Were Dying". In cinema, he played supporting roles including Aaron Jackson in The Kingdom and Eddie Newton in Tomorrowland.[1]
Background[]
Tim grew up without knowing his biological father, Tug McGraw, a baseball player. It wasn't until Tim was 11 years old that he discovered his identity through his mother. However, Tug denied his parentage for seven years the first time they met, but that didn't stop Tim from using Tug's surname. Eventually, the two reconciled and remained close up until Tug's passing in 2004.[1]
When he was young, Tim played competitive sports and learned to play guitar in college.[1]
