In 811 PD, the ancient red dragon Thordak had asexually produced several primordial dragon spawn that he had kept in his crater in the center of Emon,[7] all of whom were slain by Vox Machina during the siege of Emon[8] with the exception of one who had survived and was later living beneath the city and growing quickly when it was discovered by an investigator the following year.[4]
As NPCs, Thordak's spawn were played by Matthew Mercer.

- Raishan collected two of Thordak's eggs after his death,[10] and took them to Opash's laboratory on the Island of Viscan.[11] She had planned to disappear to a new lair on a continent other than Tal'Dorei,[12] but Vox Machina and Kerrek slew her and then burned the laboratory with the eggs inside.[13]
