The Thorain Tundra is an artic region located north of Othanzia in Issylra, contacting the northern end of the Vesper Timberland.
History[]
The Slayer's Take has defeated several monsters in this region in the past.[1]
The dragon Rimefang originally hailed from the Thorain Tundra.[2]
As of 839 PD some companies and wealthy individuals interested in the housing market wanted to build settlements and new homes in the region, so that the youth of Vasselheim could enjoy the northern climate; this, however, was challenging due to monster activity.[3] When the Re-Slayer's Take were hired to deal with the local Apex Eidolon who was disturbing the creation of a condo, they intended to make the spirit move away, but ended up deciding against it, destroying the invasive buildings instead.[4] Although Grimm Heldwell tried to capture the local Apex Eidolon, the Re-Slayers defeated him, freeing the elk-like spirit.[5]
Trivia[]
- The name of the tundra could derive from the Old Norse þora (to dare/have courage to do something).
