Thollo is a human member of the Air Ashari acting as one of the guardians of and advisors to the Voice of the Tempest, Keyleth, in Zephrah. As an NPC, Thollo is played by Matthew Mercer.
Description[]
When Bells Hells encountered him following the events of the Apogee Solstice of 843 PD, Thollo was in his fifties, with a bald head, a beard, and dark red-brown skin. He wore a hide breastplate and robes, and a warm perpetual smile.[1]
Thollo described himself as a "trivia master" and said his value to Keyleth was in his ability to absorb random information.[2]
Biography[]
"Aid of the Tempest" (3x66)[]
Thollo provided Bells Hells information about the cursed Grey Valley north of Zephrah, telling them of the Battle of the Umbra Hills and its lingering effects on the battlefields of the war because of the demonic forces utilized by Trist Drassig. He was also able to confirm some of the information Ashton Greymoore had about the Hishari, describing them as a "cult of personality" around a charismatic leader who traveled Issylra, preaching about a coming great event to reclaim the power of the elemental titans.
