The Pit is a place known to be inhabited by demons in the Aramán cosmos. It is implied to be a place of chaos, far more confusing than the mortal world.[1]
Ksha'aravi is the High Prince of Demonkind and the Shadow of Suffering; he is said to make demons, and collects souls and receives Filament through an arrangement with House Halovar that had been longstanding as of the beginning of Campaign Four.[2]Tyranny remarked that she was once just "swirling" in The Pit[3] and that she emphatically didn't want to return there, but that since her contract was with Wicander Halovar, he could send her back there whenever he wanted.[4]
