The Collective was the name given to the set of different Ruidian cultures that formerly existed outside the Kreviris Imperium.[1]

The Crush[]

At some point shortly after 543 PD[2] several quakes, which normally took place at intervals of several years, occurred at the same time, with such magnitude that they left the Collective defenseless and vulnerable for the Imperium to subdue them. Those civilizations chose to bend to the Imperium in order to keep the population safe, and for many, this actually for a time provided a more promising life.[3] Afterwards, the Imperium destroyed most written records of that time.[4]

Trivia[]

  • While the exact year of the cataclysm that destroyed the Collective is unknown, the general time coincides with the destruction of the elven city of Molaesmyr in 585 PD.[5] Even before its destruction, Ludinus Da'leth had been trying to contact Predathos, and during the apogee solstice in which the corruption took Molaesmyr he was using powerful technology and magical sources to facilitate that contact during a Ruidian flare.[6][7]
