Biography[]
Background[]
Sweetpea and Oppy were raised together as siblings. Eventually, they teamed up with the Menagerie and became adventurers.

"Critical Role plays Daggerheart" (Sx83)[]
The Menagerie's first job was to fix the Velvet Grove after some of its inhabitants asked them for help.
After staying for a bit in the house of a veteran adventurer, Everett, the Menagerie went to the forest; they walked for a bit, and Sweetpea chatted with Bunnie about the latter's shows, until eventually they found signs of corruption that both the fungril and her brother examined. When they encountered Echo, the two-headed owl, the group was asked to prove their talents, and Sweetpea proved her survival skills by showing her Shadow Step to move through darkness. Later, in the battles the Menagerie had against the beasts of the forest, Sweetpea performed nicely, being part of combat and also being stealthy and avoiding being noticed in order to strike more effectively. When they finally found the source of the corruption they were attacked by a mindless Boko, the Glen Warden, and Sweetpea was one of the first to act, restraining the guardian with her Shadow Bind; eventually they cleansed the corruption, freeing Boko in the process.
"The Menagerie Returns!" (Sx84)[]
The adventurers (minus Pango, who went underground to do his own research) decided to go to Bunnie's hometown in order to find Dyson, and when they finally arrived, a few days later, the faun brought them to the Lily Locket Lounge, a theatre full of performers and art. There, they encouraged Bunnie to perform instead of an injured co-worker, and thanks to that same performer, they learned that Dyson had been seen in town recently.
Following the clues they had, and thanks to Sweetpea's innate connection with others like her, the adventurers followed a fungril bouncer's instructions and went to a casino, where the rogue and Oppy joined Xarlo in the tables while Kexon and Bunnie located Dyson; after some interrogation, they learned that he had taken a "package" to the forest on the orders of Mortimer Kroatona, a member of the local mafia family. After Sweetpea helped her friends avoid some suspicious people following them in the streets, they went into the sewers looking for Mortimer. Eventually they found a secret basement with the Kroatona gangster and some of his agents inside. A battle ensued, and Sweetpea killed an enemy before focusing on Mortimer, using her Shadow Bind on him, although being hit by him in return. After the fight was over the group (using magic and lies) convinced Mortimer that his men had betrayed him, but Sweetpea kept her Shadow Bind on him. When more gangsters arrived Mortimer got aggressive again, and Sweetpea tried to use her spell against all the enemies, as she and the other adventurers tried to run away; Bunnie and her tried to use the former's Hypnotic Shimmer to stun their enemies, but it failed, so the two of them got captured.
"Ménagerie a Trois" (Sx85)[]
Sweetpea and Bunnie were brought to a room and tied up for interrogation. Mortimer wanted to know how they found his hiding place, and the fungril assured him that it had been by chance, and that her group had only defended themselves when the gangsters attacked. The leader of the Kroatonas didn't believe her, and wanted to know where his amulet was, so Sweetpea admitted that while she didn't know anything about the item, they did look for Mortimer, to ask him about the seep. She managed to keep the gangster's attention on her while they exchanged some questions and he admitted he had sent Dyson with the "package" to the Emerald Sky because a baron had asked him to, after doing a favor to the Kroatonas closing some mines; when Sweetpea pointed out that his actions had caused the corruption of the ecosystem there, Mortimer said he didn't care, and prepared to kill them both. Sweetpea tried to use her Dark Cloud, but she was heavily hit by his mace; by then, however, Bunnie had managed to free herself, so she attacked Mortimer, giving her friend enough time to Shadow Bind him. After a brief fight and a use of Recant the two of them teleported out of there, supported by Sweetpea's shadow magic, and when they met with the rest of the Menagerie the rogue explained what had happened as they ran away.

When they hid in an alleyway, Sweetpea asked her friends to lick her head for a few minutes, as she concentrated to use her magic to disguise the entire group as sexy ladies to avoid being recognized when performing with Bunnie: she also took a new form, choosing to look like a pink fairy with a gemstone-based outfit. When they returned to the Lily Locket Lounge they decided that Sweetpea, Danté and Xarlo would perform with Bunnie, and the former made sure that her disguises would last for as long as needed, and prepared her Phantom Retreat in case she had to run. On stage, they noticed signs of sabotage but they managed to use them to their advantage: Xarlo purposely broke and brought down a silk rope that then Danté used to swing Sweetpea through the oily floor; when ball bearings were dropped on stage, the rogue Shadow Stepped to appear among the audience, surprising them and making sure they were slightly surprised in case something went wrong with their number, although they finished satisfactorily. In the third and last number the Menagerie suspected that the performer, Mafauna, was behind their sabotage, so in retaliation Sweetpea used her Shadow Step to trip her without being noticed. By the end of the show, however, Mafauna was so embarrassed and angry that she attacked them with her back dancers. Eventually the adventurers managed to neutralize them all, making the audience believe it was all a staged fight. They left without being noticed by some Kroatona gangsters, since they were still disguised.
They went to the local closed mines to investigate, and after some effort and guile using the remaining time with their sexy disguises (which Sweetpea used to flirt a lot), the Menagerie reached a cave in which they found the corpse of a firbolg; the fungril used her Death Connection to extract the person's last memories, revealing that there was a dangerous monster living in those tunnels. Eventually they found an area that had crystals with an abscess of corruption, and a glowing hydra defending it. The adventurers fought the monster, and Sweetpea decided to attack the crystals themselves, destroying some. Sir Danté noticed and helped, destroying the remaining ones, and causing the hydra to stop glowing, losing its regeneration and allowing the party to kill it.
