Sweeny is a gnomish member of the Slayer's Take. As an NPC, Sweeny is played by Jack Quaid.
Description[]
Sweeny is a gnome who dresses in casual clothes and has a carefree attitude.[1]
History[]
Backstory[]
At some point in his life Sweeny joined the Slayer's Take and became useful because of his ability to create portals. Around 839 PD,[2][3] after Grimm Heldwell was expelled from the guild, Sweeny was sent to infiltrate the group of underlings that followed the former member.[4]
"The Timberblight of Dead Man's Table" (RTx12) and "The Cat's Cathedral" (RT2x01)[]
After the Re-Slayers defeated Putridius Festerkin at Dead Man's Table they were intercepted by Heldwell and his men as they were returning to Himblewood. Heldwell was angry at them, telling them that their activity had ruined his position in the Slayer's Take, and wanted to kill them. Before they could do anything Sweeny revealed himself (being recognized by Heldwell) and teleported with the Re-Slayers to a bakery, where they met Kashaw Vesh, informing them that Osysa wanted to speak with the adventurers.
Sweeny lost interest in the subject very quickly and said goodbye to the group, leaving through a portal. However, when the sphinx was speaking with them later the gnome created portals for Idrin Shadowstep to go to Xhorhas, for the rest of the Re-Slayers to appear in front of Timpani Guff's house, and for Kash to leave after talking to them.
