Stanley was a follower of The Dawnfather that fought alongside Braius Doomseed.
When Braius was at the lowest point in his life and ready to end it all he met Stanley, whom he believed had been sent to him by Asmodeus to act as a guide to him. Stanley assured Braius that he was special and had something to live for, that he didn't need the approval of any god but was strong enough on his own.[1]
However, at some point, Braius believed Asmodeus had commanded him to destroy Stanley.[2] During a battle against a common enemy, Stanley stabbed Braius in the back, but the minotaur managed to get up again and retaliate, smiting the human and then using his blood to paint a portrait of Asmodeus being stabbed by the Dawnfather, and used Stanley's skin to create a cup.[3]
