Sprinter's Boots are magical boots that allow one to move faster. The wearer may use their bonus action to click their heels together, activating the boots and doubling their walking speed. Pike Trickfoot owns a pair of these boots.[2] The duration of the effect has changed over the course of Campaign One; in "Attack on the Duergar Warcamp" (1x04), the duration was stated to be one minute,[2] and by "Race to the Ziggurat" (1x34), the boots were changed to have two charges and a duration of one round.[3][4]

Trivia[]

  • Sprinter's Boots are similar to Boots of Speed, described in the Dungeon Master's Guide. However, Boots of Speed impose disadvantage on opportunity attacks made against the wearer while the effect is active and can be used for a total of ten minutes, suspending the effect by clicking one's heels again.[5]
