The Shivergut are a tribe that lives within the forest of the Frostweald.[1]
Society[]
The Shivergut are typically helpful to travelers within the forest, but are often regarded as reserved. Other sects of the Shivergut however are selfish isolationists, and prefer to attack such outsiders.[1]
History[]
The orcish tribe that became the Shivergut presumably lived within the forest north of the Stormcrest Mountains before it became the Frostweald. During the Icelost Years, which blanketed the forest and much of the rest of Tal'Dorei with snow, many humans, elves, and dwarves adopted the Shivergut's ways and joined them.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
In the original Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting, the Shivergut were described as exclusively orcs, worshippers of Gruumsh, and fearsome warriors that always attacked outsiders.[2]
