Shared Dream is a spell created by Fresh Cut Grass, and allows him and other people to appear in someone else's dream.
The empathy cleric decided to create this spell after learning about Imogen Temult's strange nightmares and how her friend, Laudna, helped her through those experiences; thus, they wanted to find a way to allow the warlock to appear in the dream with the sorcerer.[4] The aeormaton actively cast Shared Dream on Imogen several nights in a row,[5] and eventually they were able to enter her dream[6]
After that first success Fresh Cut Grass was able to bring Laudna with him in their next attempt while Bells Hells were visiting the Fey Realm,[7] and after they returned to Exandria the spell was cast again, bringing both Laudna and Chetney Pock O'Pea, with the gnome and FCG being attacked during that dream by Otohan Thull's psychic powers.[8] A few days later the cleric cast the spell again, bringing Fearne Calloway and Orym.[9]
During the apogee solstice, after being transported to Wildemount along with Imogen, Fearne and Chetney, FCG decided to use this spell so, using the sorcerer's dreams, they could try to find the rest of Bells Hells. When they tried, bringing Fearne as well, the strong energy of the solstice dragged them against their will to the Malleus Key, and they weren't able to stop it. Fearne woke up first, and being worried about Imogen, she made her wake up, interrupting the spell.[10]
In Uthodurn FCG cast this spell again to observe FRIDA's dreams, targeting for the first time a person other than Imogen. In that dream they observed Exandria and an image of FRIDA superimposed over that of a child, though neither they nor FCG knew what it meant.[11]
After some short vacation in Ligament Manor, their last night there FCG cast the spell so that Imogen and the rest of Bells Hells (minus Chetney and Fearne) could go visit Ruidus. They explored under the surface for a bit, but when the sorcerer embraced the influence of the Moon of Ill Omen, she was pulled even deeper, leaving her friends behind; the spell ended then, and everyone woke up, just a few moments before Imogen herself.[12]
On Ruidus, after the Volition accepted Bells Hells as allies the adventurers discovered that they were planning an assassination attempt on Liliana Temult, which led them to question if they should allow it to happen or try to convince Imogen's mother to join their side. Imogen decided to speak with her in her dreams, and FCG joined her using the Shared Dream spell, witnessing the conversation between Ruidusborn without interfering.[13]

Trivia[]
- With each occasion FCG cast Shared Dream the spell seems to become more and more defined: on the first successful attempt the cleric (as a visitor in the dream) appeared as a spectral form[14] and was unable to use his magic,[15] but in later attempts both them and other visitors appeared as small orbs,[16] and could benefit from magic.[17] These changes are likely due to the fact that the spell is still new and not all of its aspects have been set yet.

- So far this spell has targeted mainly Imogen, with FRIDA being the only and most recent exception. FCG was fascinated by the fact that the gunslinger had a recurring dream, since the cleric is unable to dream and assumed that was true of all aeormatons.
- Sam Riegel mentioned that he had been responsible for creating the spell, which has not yet been published.[18]
