Ruth was one of the members of a team that had won the Hour of Honor drinking competition three weeks in a row before Mighty Nein's victory. As an NPC, Ruth is played by Matthew Mercer.

Ruth was rotund, tough-looking, oval of a gnomish woman with bright freckles. Her eyes have slate grey pupils. When the Mighty Nein first met Ruth, her hair was pulled into tight braids on the side.[1]

Ruth ended up facing off against Beauregard Lionett in the Hour of Honor. They tied on the first round, then traded victories for the next four rounds, and the final round went to Ruth.[4]
