Rowan Hall is a Los Angeles based actor, writer, podcaster, TTRPG streamer, as well as a writer and game designer for Darrington Press LLC.
Critical Role works[]
Rowan Hall is the writer and lead game designer of Critical Role's miniseries Candela Obscura along with Spenser Starke. She is also one of the game designers for the game system Daggerheart.
Rowan Hall made a brief non-speaking appearance in "Candela Obscura Live - The Circle of the Silver Screen" (CO5x01) as she was pushing a wheelchair with Liam O'Brien disguised as Cosmo Grimm, Liam's character from Candela Obscura Chapter Three: Circle of Tide and Bone.[1] Rowan attended PAX Unplugged 2024 with Critical Role founders Matthew Mercer and Ashley Johnson, Daggerheart lead game designer Spenser Starke, as well as Daggerheart contributors Masood Haque and Dani Gage for a dedicated panel to showcase Darrington Press' newest game system, Daggerheart.[2][3][4]
Other works[]
Rowan Hall wrote, directed, and acted in the Irish short film And Will in 2018 and the Armenian short film Quote This in 2020. Rowan is one of the two hosts for the podcast Willing & Fable, which does retellings and original in-depth research on the world's history, mystery, and mythology.
