The Ring of Spell Splitting is a magical item introduced in "Frigid Propositions" (2x109).
Description[]
The ring is composed of a gold and a silver band spiraling around each other in a single loop, simple but very beautiful in its simplicity.[2]
Effects[]
Once per day, the ring allows a caster to target an additional creature when they cast a spell that normally targets only one. It might work on touch based spells, including healing spells.[3]
Appearances[]
Jester Lavorre bought the ring from Dimble Thaydeen at Thaydeen's Endless Emporium of Enchanted Eccentricities in Rexxentrum.[4] She used it for the first time to split a Polymorph spell when the party was chasing the escaping undead Avantika while in the Frigid Depths.[5] She used it again to Polymorph herself and Veth into giant eagles to escape from the black oozes within the Aeorian ruins,[6] and to Polymorph herself and Yasha into giant eagles to try to overtake the Tombtakers on the race to A2.[7]
