The Ring of Brass was a group of influential individuals from the flying city of Avalir during the late Age of Arcanum.

While its members all held positions in Avalir's various governmental or commercial institutions, the Ring itself was an informal group that allowed for a handful of influential people to discuss serious issues free from the limitations of the organizations to which they belonged.[1]

Even though the members of the Ring of Brass did not go on adventures like traditional parties, and although they spent a lot of time apart working in their respective professional fields, the collaboration of the six (along with that of their various allies) was crucial in ensuring a chance of Exandria and its inhabitants surviving the Calamity, even if it came at the cost of their lives, their city and their continent, destroyed when Laerryn's Astral Leywright sundered two elemental titans (Ka'Mort and Rau'shan) by shooting them out of the planet. Only Cerrit Agrupnin survived to be reunited with his family.
