Rensten Woll is a male resident of Drynna, Tal'Dorei, where he is an elder member of the Sunrise Lodge. He was featured in the adventure hook A Mind Wasted in the Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting sourcebook.
History[]
Unbeknownst to his peers, in 811 PD, he made a pact with the Moon Mistress, a night hag who resided in the nearby Mooren Lake. Shorty after, Woll's brother Kyle died in his sleep, leaving his wife Lissana, whom Woll had coveted, vulnerable. However, nightmares began haunting Woll every evening and a violent madness started to consume him. By 812 PD, word of his conditions had reached Woll's peers in the Lodge.[1]
Trivia[]
In the story hook Bleak Inheritance in the Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting Reborn, set in 836 PD, a younger member of the Lodge named Hareth Val Bardo made a similar pact with the Moon Mistress, resulting in the death of his brother. Hareth was apparently motivated by an inheritance.[2]
