Rachel House is a New Zealand actor, director, and writer. Among her many roles, she has appeared as Gramma Tala in Moana, Mary Read in Our Flag Means Death, Parisia in Amphibia, and Joycie Waru in the miniseries Hope and Wire.[2] She played Dohla Lorian, the dragonborn former ally of Allura and Kima, in The Legend of Vox Machina, Season Three.

Rachel was born on 20 October 1971 in Auckland, New Zealand, and raised in raised in Kamo, Whangārei, New Zealand by her adoptive parents. Her Maori tribal affiliations are Ngāti Mutunga, Te Ātiawa and Ngāi Tahu. She attended drama school in Wellington, New Zealand and later studied directing at the Prague Film School in the Czech Republic.[1]
