Pussy was an automaton member of the Division of Public Benefit, an adventuring party with Fresh Cut Grass and Dancer.
Description[]
Pussy, like the other automatons, had a relatively simple set of responsibilities for the Division.[1]
Appearance[]
Pussy may have been slightly smaller or wider than Fresh Cut Grass,[2] and had a buzzsaw attachment.[3]
Personality[]
According to Fresh Cut Grass, Pussy didn't have opinions about many things.[4]
Biography[]
Dancer created Pussy, who—like all of Dancer's automaton creations—was named after one of Dancer's favorite smells.[5]
At some point many months before the beginning of Campaign Three, the Rayia Family hired the Division to clear out their silver mine near Evishi in the Oderan Wilds of unknown giant monsters. The task was harder than expected, and the Aeormaton Fresh Cut Grass had to do a lot of healing.[6][7] The adventurers camped outside the cave to rest for the night. Sometime during the evening, the fairly-battered FCG "broke", going berserk and slaying Pussy and the rest of the party except for Dancer, who managed to escape.[8] Unaware of what had transpired, FCG awoke later to the grisly scene. When Ashton Greymoore arrived, they together buried what remains they could find and salvaged some items, including Pussy's buzzsaw.[9]
Dancer later developed another automaton named Pussy II.[10]

The cast has made jokes about this automaton's name a running gag.
- In the introduction of "The Threat Between the Walls" (3x05), Sam Riegel made an announcement in character as a cat. Liam O'Brien quipped, "Guys, we're finally getting that Pussy backstory."[12]
- In "A Stage Set" (3x32), the cast made a series of jokes about creating merchandise using the name.[13]
- In "Hope Within History" (3x55), FCG denied killing Dancer, but admitted, "I did kill her Pussy."[14]
- "Nice" (3x69) featured a series of jokes as FCG became reacquainted with Dancer, who now had an automaton named Pussy II.
