Preio Madali (pronounced /ˈpreɪoʊ məˈdɑːli/) is an uniya. She is the co-owner of the Soot and Swill tavern.[4] As an NPC, Preio Madali is played by Matthew Mercer.

Appearance[]
Preio has dark brown hair streaked with deep red. She wears it covering the right side of her face, with the left side pulled over the ear and tied back.[5]

"Thicker Grows the Meal and Plot" (3x09)[]
The group later called Bells Hells were told by Lord Eshteross that Preio was the sister of Artana Voe, whom they were trying to locate. When the party arrived at the Soot and Swill, Preio required that Ashton pay for the damages he had done the last time he was there, but otherwise seemed friendly and helpful. When questioned about her sister, she denied the relationship and any knowledge of where Artana currently was, but the party discovered that Artana was actually in a hidden room off the kitchen. Preio encouraged her employee, Pretty, to accept a date offered by the three women of the party in an attempt to keep him out of the kitchen while the rest of the party were interviewing Artana.
"The Shade Mother" (3x16)[]
When Chetney asked Preio for a 3 am wake-up call, she asked for a gold to fulfill this extremely uncommon request. She declined when she learned at what time he needed it, but reversed her decision when he upped it to a platinum. Chetney explained he was testing her limits and went back to bed.
