The Plumgroves are known for both the diversity and number of fruits in this small woodland near Feolinn. They are also full of public trails which are frequently used by those visiting. Feolinn's wine production comes from the many products of the Plumgroves, and the local Zhelezo patrol the area to keep the wildlife and ecosystem healthy and prevent poaching. [1]

History[]

"Stephen Colbert's D&D Adventure with Matthew Mercer" (Sx43)[]

Capo and Eric traveled to a cavern within the Plumgroves.

Within the jungle, they found a small rocky hillside cliff with thick vines on the surface, which obscured the entrance to a cavern leading deeper into the subterranean regions beneath the Plumgroves.[2] They followed a rocky, winding path down into the earth. They could smell a faint whiff of rot and stagnant hard water. After about five minutes along this path they came to a large chamber with a series of stalactites hanging from the damp ceiling.[3]

Capo found that the chamber had no floor, but rather led down into a dark ravine. At the cliff's edge where he entered, he could see two stone imps wedged into the sides of the wall, and a single 60-foot rope bridge across the chasm, held on the opposite end by two pitons.[4] After having Eric scout, Capo crossed the bridge and was blasted with pinkish-purple arcane energy from the imps.[5] Once the two were across the bridge they came to another opening leading to a rock tunnel that spiraled further down into a small crystalline chamber, about 60 feet below.[6]

The crystalline chamber was full of reflective glass and onyx pillars, and the light from the torches in the sconces of the walls of the chamber illuminated the jagged and warped interior. Capo noticed small piles of bone, as well as small red spheres that were dull and cracked in places.[7] After being attacked by some of the spheres, he came to a gilded tomb with scrolling of simple arcane runes around its outside. On the top of the tomb was a sculptured relief of a female warrior in beautiful armor, with a beautiful sword of gold and silver inlay plunged through her chest and a peaceful expression on her face.[8] An apparition of the warrior appeared to warn Capo about continuing forward, and he was able to determined that the tomb served as a ward of protection.[9] When Capo attempted to take the sword, the figure asked him his purpose, and granted it to him upon deeming it noble.[10]

Capo and Eric continued on to a dark marbled wooden doorway with silver and gold veins through it. On the door way was an old, rusted lock, which Capo was able to pick. From there, the two descended down a curved set of stairs. The stench of decay on the stairs was intense, and was mixed with a scent of old incense. The stairs led to a laboratory with a large domed interior.[11]

In addition to the domed ceiling, the laboratory had a smooth, dark stone floor. The edges of the room were lined with tables with complex and sparking alchemical materials of glass and metal. On the furthest left-hand corner there was a table with corpses piled onto it. There was also a large bed covered in rags, linens, and a glass tube that contains some sort of faint blue energy. In here, Capo and Eric encountered and fought Zathkira.[12]

"Traveler Con" (2x108)[]

Kellbast mentioned that he used the soft wood from the Plumgroves in his furniture making.[13]
