Phil was a half-elven mercenary who worked with the Iron Shepherds. As an NPC, Phil was played by Matthew Mercer.

Appearance[]
Phil was a young half-elven man[1] with short, dark hair and visible signs of a hard life that made him appear older than he actually was.[2]
Personality[]
Phil enjoyed poking fun at his companions for their incompetency, but was always willing to help them out whether the threat was a spider or even a bird.
Biography[]
Phil was off duty, inside the building, when the Mighty Nein and their allies attacked the Sour Nest in "Within the Nest" (2x28). He lasted a short while before being defeated and turned into mulch by Caduceus: it is unclear whether he was actually dead at that point.
