Parson Pellinost is an Imperial Inquisitor from the Dwendalian Empire and a cleric of Vesh.

Description[]

Pellinost has a prosthetic right hand. He is vicious, bloodthirsty, and cruel.

Biography[]

Background[]

In 835 PD during the War of Ash and Light, Pellinost was put in charge of Fort Venture, an Imperial outpost within Brokenveil Marsh. There he conducted inhumane and violent experiments on the humanoid denizens of the marsh using the magic granted to him by the Bloody Siren.[3] Among these was a Hollow One cultist of Ceratos named Alonne Frith, whose undead nature was of particular interest to Pellinost.[4]

Unwelcome Spirits[]

Under Pellinost's orders, the soldiers captured Bol'bara, a goblin warlock and elder seer of Urzin. At the fort, he tortured Bol'bara by killing her each day then resurrecting her with the spell Revivify. On the third day of this torture, Bol'bara became fully possessed by her patron, Trush. With this power granted, she used her Zone of Calamity to cause Pellinost's guard to attack and kill him. She escaped and wreaked havoc across Fort Venture.[5]

Relationships[]

Pellinost isn't respected by the soldiers at Fort Venture, but they obey his orders out of fear.[3]
