Panvel Seriblo was a human silversmith of Rexxentrum and the brother-in-law of Lucien Tavelle.
Biography[]
Panvel was a silversmith with a certain renown in the capital of the Dwendalian Empire. He had his own establishment, The Center Stone, in the Court of Colors, in which he lived with his family.[1] He was married to a human woman, with whom he had a son, Kyvir.[2]
At some point the family hired Aldreda Tavelle as housekeeper. She was a tiefling performer of the Greying Wildlands who had travelled to Rexxentrum for a better life.[3] She cleaned the house and took care of the family and of young Kyvir,[4] and in 829 PD the boy's mother, Panvel's wife, died of fever in winter.[5]
Aldreda became indispensable in the silversmith house,[6] and eventually he married her, with Aldreda taking his name.[7] As of 831 PD they had had a daughter together, Marii.[8] That year Aldreda's brother, Lucien, found out where his sister lived,[9] and went visit her with enough money to start a new life. Aldreda, however, hardly recognized her brother after so many years, and kept the whole conversation with her brother private, sending Kyvir to bed and telling Panvel she had "handled it" when he asked from upstairs who was at the door.[10]

- According to Aldreda, Panvel could have given Lucien a job if he had asked.
- While Aldreda didn't state it openly, she told her brother that she had suffered to get to where she was, hinting that her life and marriage might not be happy.[11]
- Panvel was the only member of his family that didn't meet Lucien when he visited Rexxentrum.
