An otyugh is a tentacled aberration that gluttonously consumes waste, sewage, and carrion. When consuming live creatures, otyughs kill their prey through tentacle constriction and their diseased, filthy bites. Their appetites are nearly impossible to sate, and they typically dwell in sewers or pits where they remain fairly sedentary as long as their preferred sustenance abounds.[1]

Description[]

Able to reach around 15 feet in height, these greyish-brown quadrupedal creatures are large and heavy, having a blubbery and slimy exterior. Having a giant mouth filled with teeth and a large slobbering tongue, the smell of feces and rot wafts out from these creatures. Three large tendrils protrude out of an otyugh's body. Two these are large tentacle-like arms that have a long curved tooth-like protrusion at their ends, that these creatures use to grapple and draw prey into their maw. Filled with diseases, a bite from these creatures can cause a target to become infected by its poisonous saliva. The third tentacle protrudes out of its head and contains three vertical eyes.[2] When injured a thick brown blood sprayed out of it body, which gave off a foul odor on contact with the air.[3]
