Olbalad, the Sister of Mists, was an angel of death who acted as a psychopomp for the souls of halflings in Aramán in connection with Rauwyn, the goddess of trickery and of the halflings.[3]
Description[]
Appearance[]
Although she was a celestial closely associated with mist, the coffin made for her was halfling-sized.[4]
Biography[]
In times before the Shapers' War the Sister of Mists was the celestial in charge of guiding halfling souls and ferrying them through the Tenebral Reaches and into the afterlife.[5]
Olbalad presumably died, and seventy years after the death of the gods a coffin made for her was found in Venatus by Thaisha Lloy and Occtis Tachonis, who brought it to Dol-Makjar.[6] When it was opened, pieces of ceramic took the shape of a mask for a moment until they were touched, then turned into harmful mist.[7] The following day, when the coffin and the mist were examined by Bolaire Lathalia and Murray Mag'Nesson, it was revealed that things thrown inside it didn't come out.[8]
