The Nobodies were a crew of small-time criminals in Marquet, of which Ashton Greymoore used to be a member.

History

The Nobodies grew up together as kids in the Greymoore State Home in Bassuras. Several years before 843 PD,[1] Ashton and the rest of the Nobodies broke into Jiana Hexum's home in Jrusar as part of a job. Ashton's memory was that Jiana had walked in on the attempted burglary and used magic to push Ashton back. They fell out the window and were gravely injured, recovering with the help of Milo Krook. The rest of the Nobodies left Ashton behind when they left Jrusar following the failed burglary, which Ashton doesn't resent them for.

Later, with the aid of Imogen Temult and Fresh Cut Grass, Ashton remembered more of the failed break-in. He remembered the Nobodies planning in a tavern, based on their knowledge that Jiana was receiving mysterious regular shipments. When Ashton broke into and rummaged through one of the shipment crates containing glass vials, dull red runes began to glow in the chamber around them which seemed to affect all of the group's memories of the events. The other Nobodies rescued Ashton when he fell, even though they assumed he was dead or dying.[2]

Ashton was found by Jiana Hexum and started working for her to pay off his debt.[3] Eventually, in 843 PD he joined with a new crew, Bells Hells.
