Nick Marini is an American actor who plays Ayden, a Barbarian/Druid/Paladin/Cleric in the three-part special Downfall, set over a century into the Calamity.

Background[]

The son of actress Susan Wilder and director Ken Marini, Nick was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Cinema Studies and graduating in 2014. He immediately headed to Los Angeles, where he has pursued his acting career.[2][3]

Nick is best known for appearing as Young Terry Silver in Cobra Kai and as Danny Jones in the second season of Chicago Med.[3] He appeared on Brennan Lee Mulligan's Adventuring Academy's first season in the episode "Playing a Cooperative Game", which is available on YouTube, and on several episodes of Um, Actually. He was a fellow staff member with Brennan at The Wayfinder Experience, a camp for young people teaching leadership through live action roleplay, and is a player in Brennan's long running home game.[4]

  • Both Ashley Johnson and Brennan Lee Mulligan have praised Nick's masterful knowledge of Dungeons & Dragons, which reaches the point where he is able to say from memory the page of different things in the Player's Handbook. Brennan also confirmed he has been playing with Nick since they were kids.[5]
