Nez Pilch was one of the matriarchs of the refugee village of Torm's Hill at the end of The Calamity.[2] As an NPC, Nez was played by Brennan Lee Mulligan.
Description[]
Nez was tiny, rotund, and aged, with graying, wiry hair in two braids and two big fake silver teeth. She wore a kerchief and gown.[3]
Biography[]
"Seven of Them" (E4x02)[]
When the refugees from Rybad-Kol reached Torm's Hill just after the final battle of The Calamity, Nez recognized Erro Mordaurum and greeted him happily. She seemed to be the main person directing the efforts to divert the rising floodwaters around the village and trying to organize some of the chaos of dealing with the refugees. Later, when Garen found an ancient Dwarven cache of food and drink, he showed it to Nez in private and she thanked him for his foresight in being discreet. After the battle against the Strife Emperor's soldiers, Nez was able to stabilize the wounded Garen and prevent his death. She and Klasara both worried about Nia after the loss of her good friend Luz in the fight.
"Mirror and Key" (E4x03)[]
As Nia and the rest of her party were preparing to leave Torm's Hill, Nez was one of a group that approached to say farewell. Fiedra Marrow made her gang members Otto and Taveen promise to stay in the settlement and help Klasara and Nez in any way they needed. Nez told Nia that she realized Luz's passing was a great sorrow and tried to comfort her by telling her she had faith Nia would find her sister Liana. She agreed with Coswald and Erro that there was now a fire in the people, and they would not kneel but would stand. When Erro thanked her and Klasara for touching his life, Nez told him she'd miss him.[4]
