A myceit (pronounced /ˌmaɪˈsiː.ɪt, ˌmaɪˈsiːt/) is a small, two-foot tall bipedal sentient creatures which is native to Ruidus. Myceit are part of the Ruidian ecosystem, and although they are fungal in nature, are not eaten for food.

Description[]

Their appearance varies, with some having flaring caps like mushrooms, others having no caps at all, and some bearing bisected floppy caps with an eye in each half. Their skin has a gum-like texture.[2]

Myceit appear to understand spoken Common, but do not use it to communicate, verbalizing in coos and gurgles.[3]

History[]

The myceit are common within Kreviris and many thousands work throughout the city, not caring about politics at all. Due to their usefulness and cuteness, some are kept as a form of pet.[4]

Bells Hells first encountered myceit accompanying Gaz Tomo inside the Kreviris headquarters of the Volition on Ruidus. They were the ones guiding them to their room, and Ashton Greymoore threw a silver piece to one of them as a thanks.[5]

Trivia[]

  • The myceit appear somewhat similar to the Fungril of the Daggerheart gaming system.
