The playlists under this section aim to recreate those Matthew Mercer has compiled and used throughout the games.

Campaign One: Vox Machina[]

For the openings please consult: Openings.
In February 28 2016, Matthew shared his playlist on Reddit.[1] Throughout the campaign, he improved his playlist after receiving several approval from companies and bands he had contacted, such as Incompetech/Kevin MacLeod and Plate Mail Games,[2] Obsidian Entertainment for the Pillars of Eternity video game soundtrack,[3] the band Midnight Syndicate,[4] Bethesda Softworks for the Elder Scrolls video game series soundtracks,[5] and Syrinscape's audio programming.[6] He also incorporated music created by fans.[7] The playlist, handled via iTunes, was divided under different scenes or moods, such as "Big Creepy", "Boss Battle" or "Peaceful".[8]

From beginning of Campaign 2, Matt had received an approval from Warner Bros and Monolith Productions to use the Middle-earth: Shadow of War video game soundtrack and CD Projekt Red for the use of the The Witcher video game series soundtracks as well.[29]
