Exandria Unlimited Calamity

Set in the Age of Arcanum on the eve of the Calamity, this is a four-part miniseries following six adventurers as they uncover a hidden corruption beneath the city they've sworn to protect and attempt to prevent disaster.

Downfall[]

Aeor by Clara

A three part series within Campaign Three: Bells Hells, it is set over a century into the Calamity. An arcane relic found in the ruins of Aeor replays the historical memories of "six divine figures of Exandria and the role they played in the destruction of the flying city."[1]

Exandria Unlimited: Divergence[]

A four-part miniseries set at the end of the Calamity as the Prime Deities erect the Divine Gate, following five mortals as they begin to rebuild their world and learn to live in a world without the gods in their midst.

Before 795 PD[4] a group of mercenaries that called themselves the Glorious Ones were hired to protect the people in the Musetide Festival in the island of Athova-Rae, and ended up having an unexpected adventure that led them to sail to Tal'Dorei in a hurry.

Chronicles of Whitestone: Ripley[]

Chronicles of Whitestone Ripley

The young Anna Ripley falls in with the Briarwoods in Port Damali, and aids in their takeover of Whitestone and the murder of most of the De Rolo family. She uses the captive Percival de Rolo's knowledge to aid the Briarwoods' plans to uncover a lost ziggurat and activate it.

Vex'ahlia, Vax'ildan, Scanlan Shorthalt, Grog Strongjaw, Keyleth and Tiberius Stormwind cross paths in Stilben as they investigate shady business going on in the town and the neighboring swamp. Together, they take down Iselda, a member of the Myriad.

Vox Machina Origins Series II[]

The group leaves Stilben in search of Grog, who disappears overnight. They meet Pike Trickfoot and her great-great-grand-father in Westruun and save Grog from a lich, and later meet Percy de Rolo as they look for components for a ritual to remove a phylactery implanted within Grog's chest.

After paying off their debt to Drez Vina, Vox Machina enjoy a week in Westruun's lap of luxury. But that costs coin, which has a bad habit of running out. So to keep themselves in the black (and the taverns, and the brothels) they agree to join an underground fighting ring. But before they can bash their way to cash, their attention is snagged by the case of a missing child.

This summary covers the events of the Vox Machina Origins and Winter's Crest Festival comics, albeit with minor differences, and so overlaps with them in the chronology. This retelling of Vox Machina's adventures covers events spanning from the initial meeting of the members of Vox Machina in Stilben to their departure for Kraghammer. In addition to events in other material, this special covers the party's initial meeting with Syldor Vessar in Emon; their adventures within the city's underground river system; their meeting with Allura Vysoren; their encounter with the blue dragon Brimscythe; their fight against the glabrezu controlling the Sovereign's family; Pike's death and resurrection; their fight against the Dread Emperor; and the construction of Greyskull Keep.

The first season begins with Vox Machina facing Brimscythe, followed by the adaptation of the Briarwoods arc. The second season chronicles the efforts of the party to gather the Vestiges of Divergence in order to combat the Chroma Conclave's attempt at world domination, culminating in the slaying of Umbrasyl. The third season covers the final defeat of the last members of the Conclave.

Some time before the attack of the Chroma Conclave, several members of the Clasp set off on a heist in Emon. These events may have happened before or during Campaign One.

Campaign One: Vox Machina[]

The first main campaign of Critical Role covered events spanning less than two years, including the defeat of K'Varn; taking down the Briarwoods and reclaiming Whitestone; recovering several Vestiges of Divergence; taking down the Chroma Conclave; traveling to the Nine Hells; and banishing Vecna. These events take place from 810 to 812 PD.

This novel covers roughly the time period during which the Briarwoods had control of Whitestone through shortly before the start of Campaign Three: Bells Hells, focusing on the life of Laudna.

Two years after the defeat of the Chroma Conclave, in autumn of 813 PD,[7] Trinket and his crew set out to steal some honey during a Hazel Festival in Westruun.

Set between 816 PD and 835 PD,[5] the series explores the lives of the Mighty Nein before they all met in Trostenwald.

This novel explores the life of Lucien Tavelle before he became Mollymauk Tealeaf and encountered the Mighty Nein, as well as the subsequent events after their meeting from his perspective.

"The Adventures of the Darrington Brigade" (Sx49)[]

Fourteen years after the end of Campaign One, Taryon Darrington welcomed new members within his brigade and led them through a dangerous journey in search of glory.

Events set during Campaign Two[]

Campaign Two: The Mighty Nein[]

Nearly 25 years after the end of Campaign One, a new group of adventurers met and began traveling together. The events covered in this campaign include the Mighty Nein saving the town of Alfield, facing the Iron Shepherds, turning in Avantika to the Plank King, allying themselves with the Bright Queen, battling Obann and the Angel of Irons cult, bringing the War of Ash and Light to an end, liberating the island of Rumblecusp, and stopping a long-lost part of Aeor from returning to Exandria and wreaking its madness on the world. These events take place from 835 to 836 PD.

"Dignity: An Adventure with Stephen Colbert" (Sx67)[]

The events of this one-off special episode are not canonical.
As the War of Ash and Light loomed over the Dwendalian Empire, Lucky Jack, Yasha Nydoorin, Beauregard Lionett, and Nott the Brave sought revenge on Madrak.[10]

"Liam's One Shot: The Song of the Lorelei" (Sx36)[]

The events of this one-off special episode are semi-canonical.[11]
Around the beginning of active hostilities in the War of Ash and Light,[12] the children of the lycanthropic Lorelei family were summoned back to Castle Lorelei by a letter from their father, and encountered the unexpected upon returning to their ancestral home.

"A Familiar Problem: Sprinkle's Incredible Journey" (Sx68)[]

Two months after the beginning of the War of Ash and Light in the north, a team of scrappy and stressed out familiars is on their way to explore Nicodranas, while the Mighty Nein explore leads toward the second Cloven Crystal.

Events set between Campaign Two and Campaign Three[]

Picking up several months after the events in Cognouza, the Mighty Nein have all started new chapters in their lives. However, forces loyal to the great leviathan Uk'otoa recover the final Cloven Crystal from Fjord following a battle. Despite the party's reuniting and their efforts to prevent the Crystal's use, Uk'otoa is released from its imprisonment. The Mighty Nein take ship to do final battle with the beast, eventually defeating it and re-sealing it beneath the ocean.

The Re-Slayer's Take[]

Set around 839 PD, the story follows six individuals in Issylra who have failed to join the prestigious Slayer's Take.

Exandria Unlimited Prime[]

Set in late 842 PD to early 843 PD,[5][13] a group of adventurers in Emon get entangled with the Nameless Ones and investigate a strange rune in the Scar of the Cinder King.

Set in 843 PD,[14] new and returning heroes group up in Jrusar for a job that eventually takes them to the far reaches of Exandria... and beyond.

Exandria Unlimited: Kymal[]

Set in early 843 PD after Dorian Storm fled Marquet with his brother, Dorian rejoined some of his friends in the Crown Keepers and attempted to lay low in Kymal. Barmaid Morrighan Ferus convinced the crew to attempt a casino heist as part of a mission from a god.

"The Mighty Nein Reunion: Echoes of the Solstice" (Sx79)[]

In the wake of the chaos after the Apogee Solstice, Caleb Widogast and Beauregard Lionett find themselves transported away to remote Wildemount. They gather the Mighty Nein together once more to deal with the suddenly released Trent Ikithon, defeating him and sealing his essence away once more.

A few weeks after the Rites of Catatheosis transpired and the departure of Predathos from Exandria, the Mighty Nein and Bells Hells team up to seek Ludinus Da'leth who is hiding somewhere in the Shattered Teeth.

"Oaths & Ash – Indianapolis Live Show 2025" (Sx100)[]

After aiding Ethel Rivergold on the island of Evaterena, Bells Hells returned back in the Feywild where the multiple contracts, known and unknown, of Fearne Calloway are reunited at Ligament Manor. One of them, Teven Klask, kidnapped Fearne and brought her to the realm of Diabolos to seal her soul to the Nine Hells. Bells Hells freed Fearne and defeated Teven Klask, killing him definitively.

"Total Party Kill: Chicago Live 2025" (Sx95)[]

Set months after the end of the Era of Reclamation, the heroes Beauregard Lionett, Jester Lavorre, Veth Brenatto, Kingsley Tealeaf, Caleb Widogast, Grog Strongjaw, and Fearne Calloway were teleported into the realm of the charismatic Malvolio Contreras where he put them to several trials.

Set in Sydenstar of 844 PD[15], the story follows four young campers at the Wildemount Wildlings camp who failed to earn any of their merit badges. They had one more chance to set the record straight, supervised by their counselors Beauregard Lionett and Yasha Nydoorin.

The Tales of Exandria: Artagan[]

The powerful and mischievous Archfey Artagan, also known as the Traveler, finds himself on trial before the Seelie and Unseelie Courts. He tries to justify his various escapades and exploits, and with the help of Jester Lavorre and others, manages to escape being trapped in a bespelled gem but loses his powers. Takes place in 847 PD.[16]

The Tales of Exandria: The Bright Queen[]

Set in 855 PD,[5] what might be the final piece of the Luxon appears and Leylas Kryn sends Quana to collect it... with consequences that may threaten the entire Kryn Dynasty.
