Marisha: He always does.
Max Schapiro is a post-production editor and animator specializing in motion graphics and VFX work for Critical Role's main campaigns[3] and 4-Sided Dive. Formerly, he worked on Talks Machina and Handbooker Helper for Critical Role Productions.[1] He was known for his creative editing of the Talks Machina $100 gift certificates presented by Brian Wayne Foster, the "SUBMIT" and "SLASH" gags, and providing visuals for forgotten merch items.[4] He has been called out on multiple occasions for his colorful contributions to various programs.[5][6][7][8]
He did the animation for "Exandria: An Intimate History" (Sx61),[9] Unend, and the music video for Twelve Days of Grogmas.[10]
Max also did the visual effects for Moonward.
Description[]
Max was described by Brian as wearing Hawaiian shorts, button up dad shirts, and a baseball cap, and putting his hair back in a "tiny ponytail" when he gets to work.[11]
He describes himself as "being physically and emotionally incapable of taking absolutely anything even remotely seriously, including professional self-bio writing. His interests include Nintendo games and complaining about them to a Twitter following of tens, basing his entire self-worth off the year-to-year performance of the New England Patriots professional football team, flooding the official Critical Role work chat with niche memes, the occasional re-watch of the 2014 film Whiplash, and probably nothing else."[1]
