Marion Collodi is a young man in Newfaire and a veteran of the recent war. He is played by Luis Carazo.

Description[]

Marion fought in the war before joining Candela. One of his greatest fears back then was losing the people who were important to him, and that fear remains since joining Candela. Upon learning that he could connect to those he cared for in a way that could protect them, he joined so he could do something about one of the things he fears most. There is another thing that he's the most afraid of, and he thinks joining Candela is what could help him overcome it.

Luis describes Marion[1]
[!h]

Marion is 5'9" inches tall, with a medium-slim build, dark hair and beard, and an intense look as he focuses not only on what's around him, but on another layer of existence that the eye cannot see.[2] He has a starburst-shaped scar on his chest that pulses slightly when he performs a ritual.[3] He wears a light olive-brown shirt patterned with small flowers, and a nice-for-a-working-man, worn vest, inherited from his father.[4]

Marion cares for his appearance despite having no one to come home to.[5]

After the events of "Candela Obscura: Eye for an Eye" (CO2x01), the existing scar on his chest grew and became more obviously Bleed-based.[6]

Biography[]

Background[]

Marion received the scar on his chest when he was about 7 years old.[7] He was a sleepwalker, and one night woke in his parents' front garden, where he saw a light being pulled out of him. He knew it was his soul, and as he watched, it disappeared.[8] His father eventually brought in an exorcist, the father of Jinnah Basar.[9]

Marion's first experience with his clairvoyance was during a battle in the war, in which he helped direct Sean Finnerty across a battlefield to safety.[10]
