Manad is an orc werepanther living in Barinak. As an NPC, Manad is played by Matthew Mercer.
Description[]
When first encountered by Bells Hells, Manad was in the form of a jet black panther with piercing green eyes and a warm smile. He wore dark brown leathers and carried two short swords.[1] In his orcish form, he is scrawny with large tusks, grey skin, "luscious" tangled black hair, a well-kept goatee, and piercing green eyes.[2]
Biography[]
Background[]
"Compulsions" (3x40)[]
Madad was one of the Gorgynei party led by Annaline who confronted Bells Hells when they landed in the skyship Silver Sun seeking Divaasheela at Ajit Dayal's suggestion, in aid of Chetney Pock O'Pea's quest to learn more about his lycanthropic condition and how to achieve greater control over it. Manad provided Laudna a ride to the village.
"Call of the Wild" (3x41)[]
During the journey to Zha'Vrollo, Manad shared some of the history of the temple and of the Gorgynei. He also made sure that Fearne was safe while she was under the influence of a hallucinogenic mushroom, becoming overwhelmed by the faun's flirtations.
"The City of Flowing Light" (3x42)[]
After Chetney passed Sahyaadon's trial, the Gorgynei stayed with Bells Hells a bit longer, and Manad hunted a rabbit that FCG helped him cook. The morning that the adventurers' skyship came to pick them up, Manad approached Fearne and told her that it would be great if she and her friends came back to visit them at some point, to which she agreed.
