The Lords of Strife are a cult of hobgoblins and bugbears dedicated to the Strife Emperor.

History[]

In the mid-level adventure hook Echo of the Past in the Explorer's Guide to Wildemount, set around 835 PD, the Lords of Strife hear a rumor that there is a surviving dranassar masquerading as a drow functionary in Asarius, and they plan to offer him as a sacrifice to their god. The cult's leader at the time is Gorthux, a hobgoblin captain who can transform into a bone devil once per day.[1]
