Lee Knox Ostertag[1] is a cartoonist and writer. He guest starred as Wendy Darling in "Critical Role One-Shot: Once Upon a Fairytale Cruise" (Sx28).
Other work[]
Ostertag and Brennan Lee Mulligan co-created the webcomic Strong Female Protagonist published online since 2012, but has been on hiatus starting at 2018.
His middle-grade graphic novel debut, The Witch Boy, which came out in 2017, is being adapted into a feature film by Netflix.[2]
Ostertag is credited as one of the authors for "Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft" published by Wizards of the Coast.[3]

- Ostertag's spouse is ND Stevenson, who also appeared in "Critical Role One-Shot: Once Upon a Fairytale Cruise" (Sx28) as Peter Pan.
- In August 2025, Ostertag announced he had chosen the name Lee, stating that his pronouns are he/him. He added that his previous name, Molly, was "Victorian slang for a gay man", and that he didn't mind still signing books with that name on them.[4]
