Lars Grant-West is an American artist, freelance illustrator, instructor at Rhode Island School of Design, and former art director and animal exhibit designer and builder for the Rhode Island Zoological Society, based in Providence, Rhode Island.[3][4] Since 2000, Grant-West has produced interior art for role-playing games, with much of his work appearing in Dungeons & Dragons books, including Player's Handbook 3rd Edition (2000), Dungeon Master's Guide 3rd Edition (2000), Psionics Handbook (2001), Faiths and Pantheons (2002), Epic Level Handbook (2002), Monster Manual II 3rd Edition (2002), Deities and Demigods (2002), Book of Vile Darkness (2002), Fiend Folio (2003), and Draconomicon (2003).[6] Grant-West is also a card illustrator for Magic: The Gathering.[7]
Grant-West was one of the interior artists for Explorer's Guide to Wildemount.[5]
