Lagomore are rabbit-like humanoids native to the Feywild.

Lagomores are bipedal, but have digitigrade legs suited to jumping like those of a rabbit,[4] and claws in their toes.[5] They have long ears and a humanoid-like face, although with some animal traits, such as fur, a more leporine nose,[6] or slightly prominent incisors.[7]

Society[]

Unlike some other races native to the Feywild, lagomores are a rare sight on Exandria.[8]

Abilities[]

As a playable race, lagomores have the following abilities:

  • Hare-Trigger: Lagomores add their proficiency bonus to their initiative rolls.[1][9]
  • Leporine Senses: Lagomores are proficient in Perception.[1][10]
  • Lucky Footwork: If a lagomore fail a dexterity saving throw and isn't prone or immobilized, they can use their reaction to roll a d4 and try to succeed instead.[1][11]
  • Rabbit Hop: Several times per day, assuming it is not immobilized, a lagomore can jump as a bonus action without provoking opportunity attacks.[1][12][13]

Notable lagomores[]

Trivia[]

  • The name lagomore seems to be derived from the taxonomic order Lagomorpha, which includes hares and rabbits.
  • Lagomores likely correspond to the harengon race first introduced as a playable race in The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, six months before Exandria Unlimited: Kymal aired. Lagomores differ from harengons in that lagomores have more human features, such as humanoid heads with rabbit ears where harengons have heads like rabbits or hares; however, it seems likely the player mechanics of the two are the same, and one of them has already been confirmed.
